Daikin uses a higher-grade compressor, R32 refrigerant, and has a 5-year compressor warranty. It's built for continuous commercial use.

Does it heat?

This model is cooling-only. Daikin makes heat-pump versions of the Sky Air line — ask us if you need heating.

What's the difference between 600 × 600 and 950 × 950?

Accepted Answer

The 600 × 600 fits a standard ceiling grid tile — no cutting. The 950 × 950 needs a larger opening and is for bigger rooms (12 000 BTU+).

Do I need a suspended ceiling?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a cassette needs at least 250 mm of ceiling void for the indoor unit and pipework. If you have a solid ceiling, look at a mid-wall split instead.

Can I control it from my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes — with the optional Online/Cloud controller (BRP069C81) you can control it from anywhere via app. It's an extra — request on quote.

Is it suitable for a small office?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the 9 000 BTU cassette is ideal for small offices, meeting rooms or shops up to 25 m². On low fan it's around 33 dB — quiet enough for work.
