Fresh Air Supply Systems

Where natural fresh air is not possible, mechanical fresh air supply is compulsory.  Where an area is being air-conditioned mechanical fresh air supply is compulsory to comply with local municipal regulations.

Fresh air can be introduced by an independent fresh air system.  This can be done by intake air via a weather louver on the outside of a building or it can be introduced via the air-conditioning system. It depends on the AC application installed. To introduce enough oxygen and reduce the CO2 levels inside office areas is key for a better workspace and higher efficiency levels.

Selecting the correct fan application with the required fan duty is key to ensure a working system can be installed, our in-house engineering team at Airvent can assist in calculating and finding the right solution for you.

Extract Air Systems

Bathroom, canteen or ablution ventilation systems is compulsory if natural ventilation cannot achieve the required air flow inside the area(s).

Extract air can be extracted by an independent extract air system by extracting the air via a weather louver on the outside of a building. To ensure a clean-, fresh- and healthy air space is vitally important for office commercial and industrial areas.

Selecting the correct fan application with the required fan duty is key to ensure a working system can be installed, our in-house engineering team at Airvent can assist in calculating and finding the right solution for you.

Kitchen Extraction and Make-Up Air Systems

Where industrial cooking takes place extracting the dirty air is important. Industrial custom build canopies with filters can be installed over a cooking area to ensure the dirty air is sucked in and discharged above roof space by connecting the canopy with ducting and extracting the air using a specified fan.

Due to the large volume of air that is being extracted it is key to introduce what is called “make-up” air. Essentially the make-up air is slightly less than the air that is being extracted to ensure a negative pressure inside the kitchen area.

Selecting the correct fan application with the required fan duty is key to ensure a working system can be installed, our in-house engineering team at Airvent can assist in calculating and finding the right solution for you.
