Question 1

What's the difference between this and the mini cassette?

Accepted Answer

This is a full-size 950 × 950 cassette with higher capacity (12 000 BTU vs 9 000). The mini cassette fits a 600 × 600 grid; this one needs a larger ceiling opening.

Question 2

Can I control it from my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes — with the optional Online/Cloud controller (BRP069C82) you can control it from anywhere via app.

Question 3

What optional extras are available?

Accepted Answer

Madoka wired controller (BRC1H52), online/cloud controller (BRP069C82), wireless remote (BRC7FA532F), decoration panels (eggshell, black, designer, auto-cleaning), and a UV Streamer air purifier kit (BAEF125AWB). All are additional extras — request on quote.

Question 4

What does the UV Streamer do?

Accepted Answer

It's a UV-C lamp kit that mounts inside the cassette and sterilises the air as it passes through. Useful in clinics, dental rooms or anywhere air quality matters. It's an extra — request on quote.

Question 5

Can I get a black panel?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Daikin sells eggshell, black, designer and auto-cleaning decoration panels for the Sky Air line. They're interchangeable. Request the colour on quote.

Question 6

Is it quiet enough for a boardroom?

Accepted Answer

On low fan it's around 33 dB — quieter than a typical conversation. On high it's around 43 dB. For a boardroom we'd set the fan to low and let it run longer.
