Do I need a suspended ceiling?

Yes — a cassette needs at least 250 mm of ceiling void for the indoor unit and pipework. If you have a solid ceiling, look at a mid-wall split or floor-standing unit instead.

What does fresh air intake do?

Fresh air intake brings in outside air to improve ventilation and indoor air quality. Useful in offices and shops where stale air can build up.

No, this is fixed speed. For an inverter cassette, see the Jet-Air ASI Cassette Inverter.

How does it compare to the ASI Cassette Inverter?

The ASI Inverter has a DC inverter compressor and fan for higher efficiency and quieter operation. This Fixed Speed cassette is the budget choice — same 4-way airflow and 5-year warranty, but lower price.

This is a cooling-only model. For a heat-pump cassette, ask us about available options.

Is it suitable for a restaurant?

Yes — the cassette is built for commercial hours. The silent operation and fresh air intake make it ideal for shops, restaurants and offices.
